Accredited Investor

An accredited investor is considered to have some of the following financial thresholds. For example, having a net worth that exceeds $1 million, excluding the value of your primary residence. Also, an individual income exceeding $200,000 annually or a combined income with a spouse exceeding $300,000 per annum is considered an accredited investor.

Non-Accredited Investor

A non-accredited investor, also known as a retail investor, is anyone who does not meet the requirements of an accredited investor. To be categorized as a non-accredited investor, the investor's net worth is less than $1 million and has an income under $200,000 individually or $300,000 with a spouse annually.
